The Association of mining and metallurgical enterprises is the largest industrial association of Kazakhstan which comprises more than 70 companies producing ferrous and nonferrous metals, uranium and coal.
The Association was established in 2005 at the initiative of the mining sector enterprises and with the support of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Association represents mining and metallurgical industry in the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan “Atameken”. The Association is co-developer of the Program for development of mining and metallurgical sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan for years 2010-2014 and now is a member of the industry expert committee under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Our mission
The association pursues a mission of consolidation of the efforts for development of the private entrepreneurship in mining and metallurgical industry based on principles of socially responsible business.
